How Nissan Gives Back

We want to highlight some of the amazing things Nissan does to improve our community, country, and global society.

The Nissan Foundation

The Nissan Foundation is a philanthropic foundation that awards grants to promote respect and understanding of America’s rich cultural heritage. Since 1992, the Nissan Foundation has awarded millions of dollars to over 150 nonprofit organizations. In 2024, the foundation awarded 1.25 million dollars to 44 nonprofit organizations across the country that support mobile education, museums, libraries, and other nonprofit organizations.

Nissan Neighbors

Nissan Neighbors is a community-focused initiative that focuses on education, environment, and humanitarian services to improve life for those who need it most near Nissan operations. This is Nissan’s way to give back to the communities in which it is an integral part in Central Tennessee, Central Mississippi, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Southeastern Michigan. Nissan Neighbors partners with 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to improve the communities where Nissan employees live and work.
