What’s New for 2024?

This year’s Sentra earns itself a well-deserved makeover featuring plenty of subtle, yet noticeable changes all around. That includes a new front bumper design that pushes last year’s prominent brightwork further to the sides of the grille. The Sentra also earns a new headlamp and tail lamp design, as well as more subtle tweaks to the lower rear bumper. Nissan’s recently-revamped logo sits prominently front and back, providing a punctuation point of sorts for the Sentra’s refreshed styling.

Real World Performance

No matter which 2024 Nissan Sentra trim level you choose, the powertrain stays the same. A 2.0-liter dual-overhead cam 4-cylinder engine provides plenty of pep for the sporty 4-door sedan, ultimately putting out 149 horsepower and a respectable 146 pound-feet of torque. Power flows to the front wheels with the help of Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission. The drivetrain also features an ECO mode to push the Sentra along in a more efficient manner. This feature also works in concert with Active Grille Shutters that help reduce drag while enhancing engine cooling at lower speeds. The Sentra also benefits from a new engine stop-start feature, making the vehicle a bit more frugal in stop-and-go traffic.
